Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Director of Construction for the Iowa region to lead capital projects from concept through turnover. You will manage design coordination, budgeting, and scheduling while coordinating with internal teams and external consultants.

The role requires oversight of multiple projects, strong leadership, and the ability to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across sites in Iowa. Travel to construction sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; 7+ years of experience in commercial construction management.
• Experience managing construction projects and coordinating design and construction processes.
• Strong negotiation, scheduling, and budget control skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design with external design professionals and consultants.
• Monitor progress and coordinate all disciplines from concept to construction documents.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and project controls; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Review and approve contractor payments and change orders; ensure code compliance.
