Job summary

AlignOps in Indianapolis, IN, seeks an IoT Systems Integration Engineer to bridge AlignOps' cloud platform with physical IoT and telematics devices across construction fleets. You will evaluate, configure, test, and integrate hardware while working closely with Engineering and Hardware Logistics to ensure reliable deployments and optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on IoT hardware integration experience.
• 2+ years experience in IoT, telematics, or embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of serial communications and power management.
• Experience with Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, configure, and bench-test IoT hardware for the AlignOps platform.
• Bench-test hardware and ensure compatibility with the cloud system.
• Develop device configuration scripts and power profiles.
• Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, GPS, and sensor issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Hardware Logistics on deployments.
• Document configurations and testing results for repeatable deployments.
• Stay current on IoT/telematics to suggest improvements.
