Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a junior-year student for a hybrid internship in San Francisco to work on our Connected Operations platform. You may help build backend infrastructure, scale data ingestion, and contribute to front-end experiences that turn data into actionable insights across multiple teams.

The role offers full-time, paid experience with relocation support and opportunities to collaborate with product and design to iterate on features that deliver real customer value.

Qualifications

• Currently a junior-year student on track to complete a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science between Spring/Summer/Fall 2028 or Winter 2029.
• Hybrid: 3 days per week in our San Francisco, CA office. Relocation assistance is available.
• Full‑time, paid internship - interns are expected not to be enrolled in school full‑time while working at the company.

Responsibilities

• Work on backend infrastructure powering the IoT platform, scaling data ingestion and storage for thousands of assets and customers.
• Contribute across full stack, creating intuitive experiences that turn data into insights, collaborating with product and design.
• Support frontend/mobile work (React, React Native) and embedded projects where applicable, while learning from engineering teams.
