Signify’s Cooper Lighting Solutions in Atlanta is seeking an IoT Product Architect to lead embedded firmware architecture for connected device products onsite.

You will guide development teams, set architectural direction, and collaborate across hardware, software, and product teams to deliver scalable lighting solutions.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in IoT/RF, hands-on C/C++, and deep expertise in Zigbee, BLE, DALI, CANBus, MQTT, with a passion for innovation and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, EE or embedded systems.
• 15+ years in IoT, Smart Home, RF, or related engineering tech.
• Product-level architecture ownership for embedded or connected device products.
• Strong embedded firmware development background with C/C++.
• Experience with Zigbee, BLE, DALI, CANBus, MQTT and related protocols.

Responsibilities

• Own node device architecture decisions and drive technical architecture analysis from design to implementation.
• Lead architecture documentation and technical reviews across Cooper Lighting Solutions.
• Promote best-in-class software engineering practices and mentor developers.
• Define protocol usage within products and provide training and support to engineers.
