Job summary

Kargo is hiring to strengthen its security program across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments. You will design secure architectures and lead incident response, vulnerability management, and secure deployment practices for fleet and IoT systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Infrastructure and Engineering, alignment with SOC 2/ISO 27001 standards, and continuous improvement of security controls across global operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in network security or infrastructure security roles.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing and switching.
• Hands-on with firewalls, endpoint protection and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience securing AWS or GCP cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures across cloud, on-prem, and edge/IoT.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate events, and lead containment and remediation.
• Oversee vulnerability assessments and risk reduction activities.
• Embed security into deployments and operations with infrastrucure teams.
• Support compliance initiatives and maintain security documentation.
