Job summary

Civicworks is seeking an IOSHA Industrial Hygienist who will conduct on-site inspections across Indiana to improve worker safety. The role includes air and noise sampling, hazard identification, employee interviews, and detailed report writing, with frequent state-wide travel.

The position requires strong knowledge of OSHA and state laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Federal and State occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with knowledge of training methods.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to manage difficult situations and conduct technical interviews.
• Willingness to travel with reasonable accommodation.
• Knowledge of workplace hazard recognition and safety program development.

Responsibilities
