Senior iOS Software Engineer

Location: Houston, TX - Onsite Downtown

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications for internal use within the oil and gas sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to enhance application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Develop applications for Drilling, Completions, Production, Facility, and Field Operations using the latest iOS technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an iOS developer with a strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.
• Expert knowledge in software engineering and iOS technologies, including Swift, SwiftUI, and other modern frameworks like Core Data and SwiftData, UIkit, Swift Package Manager (SPM), etc.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus but not required.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
