Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Experience building and shipping iOS or other Apple-platform applications.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and software engineering best practices.
• Experience working in resource-constrained environments and reasoning about performance tradeoffs across memory, CPU, and I/O.
• Ability to work effectively in large, complex codebases.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and ship UI features that enable system-level personalization across iOS.
• Write production code in Swift and Objective-C.
• Collaborate with design, ML, and privacy teams to take features from concept to production.
• Extend and improve UI frameworks with attention to performance and power.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews to raise team quality.
