Job summary

You will collaborate with ML/AI engineers, systems engineers and designers to prototype, iterate, and define UI frameworks for AI systems, delivering magical user experiences. With 5+ years on Swift/Objective-C, you will push prototypes from concept to demo-ready products in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven software development experience, preferably on Apple platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Deep experience with at least one major Apple UI framework: SwiftUI, UIKit, or AppKit.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC) and object-oriented design principles commonly used on Apple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Research, discuss, and debate the latest in intelligence capabilities across the industry, and the ways those capabilities could form the foundation of future Apple features and products.
• Collaborate with ML/AI engineers, systems engineers, and designers to build functional prototypes.
• Be able to quickly build an idea so you and the team can work with hands‑on products. Then iterate on the best of those prototypes.
• Build things that you may not be convinced are the best direction or where there may not be clear precedent.
• Work well in the spaces between Design, engineering, and research, to create magical user experiences.
• Craft systems and UIs that work for demoing new ideas, but also provide mechanisms to observe and debug how these systems behave.
• Help define frameworks for how UI in AI systems should work.
