Job summary

CAE is seeking an IOS Operator to support training delivery at Homebush NSW. The role involves operating IOS stations, preparing sorties, and participating in role-play to enhance immersive training scenarios for military aviation personnel.

The position requires experience with simulators, mission planning, and the ability to multitask in complex training events. A Defence clearance is required, with opportunities to contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Ability to obtain/maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated experience supporting military aviation, aviation training, simulation, operations, mission planning, or related operational environments.
• Ability to multitask under pressure and manage multiple activities simultaneously within complex training scenarios.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, to work effectively with military personnel, instructors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate IOS stations to support training delivery.

Job description

⠀The IOS Operator is responsible to the Lead Instructor. The Core role is Operational Support to training serials by controlling the simulator IOS station and contributing to role play activities to enhance the immersive experience for trainees.
