iOS Developer (Onsite)

Cognizant is seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in developing iOS applications, preferably within a financial organization, with a strong understanding of digital platforms, distributed systems, and Cloud technologies.

This role requires adapting to a dynamic environment that impacts banking experiences for clients and employees. Attention to detail, effective communication, and experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies are essential.

The Role:

As an experienced Native iOS Developer, you will build innovative, cloud-based software for our global clients. You should enjoy working in diverse, collaborative, and distributed teams, and be willing to challenge legacy systems with creative solutions.

Location:

San Leandro, CA

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop iOS applications
2. Perform unit testing
3. Collaborate within an agile development environment
4. Communicate with clients and coordinate with offshore teams
5. Generate necessary artifacts and support project management

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of software development experience with iOS application architecture and design
• 5+ years of iOS development experience using SwiftUI and Combine
• Experience in mobile solutions engineering
• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1
• Strong skills in coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of application and web security
• Performance analysis and tuning skills

Salary & Benefits:
