Job summary

The role emphasizes XCUI testing, SwiftUI UI automation using accessibility identifiers, and services automation across RESTful APIs with JSON validation and network mocking.

You will work closely with iOS engineers to diagnose defects, analyze device logs, and improve test coverage and metrics, ensuring app reliability and health through robust automation strategies.

Qualifications

• Proficient in native Swift development and XCUI testing framework.
• Hands-on experience automating UI elements with SwiftUI using accessibility identifiers.
• Experience in services automation with RESTful APIs, JSON validation, and network mocking.
• Deep understanding of the Xcode ecosystem.
• Ability to automate backend service layers and network protocols using stubbing and mocking strategies.
• Experience debugging automation failures and performing root-cause analysis with iOS engineering teams.
• Define and track quality metrics (test coverage, escape defects, automation flakiness) to inform health of the app.

Responsibilities

• Define, track, and report on key quality metrics (e.g., test coverage, escape defects, automation flakiness).
• Collaborate with core iOS engineering to isolate, track, and perform root-cause analysis on defects.
• Automate UI elements using SwiftUI with accessibility identifiers and manage RESTful service validation.
• Debug complex automation failures by analyzing device logs and collaborating with the engineering team.
• Advance automation coverage for backend service layers and network protocols using stubs/mocks.
