Job summary

KANINI is seeking a Senior iOS Automation Engineer focused on AI-driven automation to accelerate the OneView platform testing. The role emphasizes transitioning from manual scripts to AI-assisted automation using Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist, with strong Playwright and Selenium expertise.

You will lead CI/CD test automation, integrate with GitLab/Jenkins, and enable smoke tests at PR level across mobile and web components. This is a senior contract/FTE role based in Nashville.

Qualifications

• >10+ years of experience in QA Automation; zero manual QA focus.
• >Expert knowledge in Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, Sauce Labs and ALM.
• >Recent hands-on experience leveraging AI for scripting with Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist.
• >Experience integrating AI-driven automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• >Ability to drive shift-left testing with PR-level smoke tests.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

As part of the Core Automation team, this role focuses on implementing AI-driven automation strategies across Physician Experience (PEX) engineering teams. The goal is to accelerate the delivery of our OneView platform (both Big Screen/Web and Small Screen/Mobile) by transitioning from traditional manual scripting to AI-accelerated automated workflows, leveraging advanced scripting tools and AI assistants to ensure the highest quality.

• AI Implementation: Implement AI-based automation scripting using Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist to reduce script authoring time for OneView UI and API tests by at least 50%.
• Shift-Left Strategy: Integrate Playwright and Katalon early in the SDLC, enabling developers and QA to run automated "smoke tests" at the PR (Pull Request) level.
• CI/CD Orchestration: Trigger and manage GitLab/Jenkins pipelines for test execution, ensuring automated reports are surfaced to leadership daily.
• Support Automation: Support feature teams as needed.
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in QA Automation; zero "Manual QA" focus.
• Scripting and Tool Expertise: Expert knowledge in Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, Sauce labs and ALM.
• AI Proficiency: Recent, hands-on experience leveraging AI for scripting(Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist).
