Job summary

Orange Grove Center in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Part-Time Mental Health Clinician to provide individual and group therapy to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring disorders. The role offers 20 hours per week, a $20/hour wage, and flexible scheduling within the headquarters setting.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, prepare monthly progress reports, and collaborate with the Assistant Director, PSR manager, and other staff to deliver

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Experience working with the population.
• Commitment to ethical and client centered practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, monthly progress reports, billing, pre authorizations and discharge summaries.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as CBT, DBT, and traumainformed care, etc.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical standards.
• Collaborate with Mental Health Assistant Director, PSR manager, health center staff, case managers, and other providers to provide holistic care.
• Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings.
• Should be able to function independently with minimal supervision.
• Should be able to provide physical assistance as needed during crisis with individuals.
• Monthly meetings with supervisor or more as needed.
• Support the Assistant Director with department administrative duties for minimum five hours a week.
• Other duties as assigned.
