Job summary

Bloomington Meadows Hospital is seeking an Intensive Outpatient Therapist to join its multidisciplinary treatment team. You will perform psycho-social assessments, conduct family and group therapy, and facilitate sessions for assigned cases in a dedicated inpatient/outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include documentation, case coordination, discharge planning, and maintaining community resource information, with emphasis on safety and sound clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• Two years experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.
• License: therapists ideally will possess a state license within two years of employment and must be actively seeking license in social work or clinical related mental health field.
• CPR certification and HANDLE WITH CARE training within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
