Welcome to Ocean Psychiatry Inc., a psychiatric clinic with an office in Fremont, California and remote staff throughout the state. Our mission is to help our clients live a life free from the constraints of mental illness, and we work towards this by striving to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health, ensuring confidentiality, and providing individualized treatment. Our goal is to collaborate as medication managers and psychotherapists to promote wellness and resiliency for each of our clients.

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated ACSW , AMFT, or APCC to join our multidisciplinary team. Associates will have the opportunity to gather licensure hours with a combination of facilitating groups in person for our Intensive Outpatient Program at our newly renovated office in downtown Fremont as well as seeing clients individually for a total of 20 hours per week, including weekly individual and group supervision. Our Associate Psychotherapists provide direct mental health services to our clients as paid staff members. Additionally, they are given the chance to have clinical consultations and learn from ethical and kind seasoned psychiatrists and medication managers who are all a part of our collaborating treatment team.

IOP is in person, however the role can also be hybrid if the therapist prefers to see outpatient clients remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate therapy groups for our IOP program
• Provide individual therapy to clients
• Attend weekly clinical supervision (individual and group)
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and medication management providers

Requirements:

• Active registration as an ACSW, AMFT, or APCC in California
• Ability to work 20 hours per week, including some in-person hours in Fremont
• Strong commitment to ethical, compassionate, and collaborative care
• Interest in working in a team-oriented and learning-focused environment
