Job summary

Family Care Center is seeking an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Psychology Technician to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to clients in an outpatient setting under supervision. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments, crisis intervention, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will conduct intake, administer testing, and help ensure accurate documentation while staying current with best practices in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• One year of experience in mental health required; experience in an IOP setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments under direct supervision of a credentialed licensed provider.
• Administer psychological testing under direct supervision and review critical items from assessments.
• Complete thorough behavioral health intake and triage assessments under supervision.
• Provide crisis prevention and intervention, coordinate or assist with admissions as needed.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on recovery and individual needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers for holistic care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of interactions, treatment plans and progress notes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field
