Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Specialist I for a full-time, day-shift role in Phoenix.

The position involves performing IONM procedures with emphasis on test setup, electrode application, and patient safety under supervision as needed. The role requires ABRET credentials or a related degree, 2+ years in neurodiagnostics with 1+ year in IONM, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Credential in electroencephalography or Evoked Potentials required or a Bachelor's degree.
• ABRET-accredited Neurodiagnostic program or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two or more years in neurodiagnostics with at least 1 year in IONM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs intraoperative IONM procedures including SSEP, BAEP, EMG, TcMEP, and neurophysiological monitoring.
• Performs Neurodiagnostic procedures such as EEG and evoked potentials.
• Maintains continuing education and competencies.
• Mentors other Neurodiagnostic staff and students.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as requested.
