Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies in Virginia is seeking a Regeneration Operator to prepare resin tanks, regenerate media with acids and bases, and perform quality control checks on equipment. This role supports customer fulfillment and the overall plant operations by ensuring resin handling meets specifications.

You will monitor chemical deliveries, receive resin from customer sites, prepare tanks for regeneration, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment involving chemical handling, or plumbing/pump/mechanical repair.
• This is a physical role requiring lifting and bending, plus use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepares labels for resin tanks and monitors bulk chemical deliveries.
• Receives resin from customer sites and prepares for regeneration.
• Regenerates ion exchange resins and media with acids, bases and other chemicals.
• Performs quality control checks (pH, ions, resistivity, TDS) to ensure specs are met.
• Repairs and maintains bottles/tanks and related equipment; may perform minor valve/PVC work.
• Prepares resin tanks or mobile equipment by filling with regenerated media.
• Separates ion exchange resins as required.
• Wears PPE per safety procedures; follows EHS rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
