Job Title: IO Sensor Validation Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA – 100% Onsite

Job Description: Supporting the consumer wearables product line, this individual will be responsible for designing and implementing sensor subsystem validation testing systems. The role requires technical understanding of sensor and IO subsystems such as ALS, user LEDs, IMU, Magnetometers, capacitive touch, and IO components. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of testing and validating the performance of these subsystems and their interaction at the system level.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test systems for sensor subsystem validation, bring-up, and characterization.
• Understand I/O Sensor functionality and validate on a form factor.
• Develop scripts using Python for testing automation.
• Understand fixture design and integration to meet functional requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with product specifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience with sensor testing and validation in a consumer electronics environment.
• Hands-on experience with Python scripting (Must Have).
• Strong understanding of fixture design and integration (Must Have).
• Approximately 8 years of relevant experience (Good To Have).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
