The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an InZone Program Specialist for a summer leadership role in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This position oversees daily operations and staff coordination for the InZone summer program, which serves children aged 6-14. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe environment, leading staff meetings, managing attendance, and communicating with families.
This is a seasonal position starting in May, requiring attendance at training sessions prior to the program launch on June 8. A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience supervising youth programs.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, 4 or more years of relevant experience supervising children’s activities or programs may suffice.
Experience Requirements: Previous experience working in youth-based programs.

InZone program is scheduled Monday through Friday beginning June 8 and ending August 14. Hours for the Program Specialist position will begin during the month of May. Employees are required to attend all training sessions in the weeks prior to the start of the camp. InZone hours of operation are 7:30 am‑5:30 pm. The Manager of Operations, Wellness and Youth Programming determines staff schedules for this position. Applicants need to be able to work the designated InZone schedule to be considered for employment.
