Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Data Analyst

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to support and develop new solutions. You will participate in various digital and non-digital projects initiated by our clients, interacting with stakeholders across business, risk, and technology to elicit, communicate, and gather requirements, ensuring robust solutions are delivered per organization standards.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, with understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies.
2. Gather data requirements, including new data demands, regulatory consumption, attribute mapping, and aggregation rules. Must have good understanding of databases, data structures, and handling large data volumes. Perform data profiling, create data dictionaries, analyze data quality, and understand data lineage.
3. Review and analyze business processes, procedures, legacy applications, and identify gaps or redundancies.
4. Work with stakeholders to consolidate disparate data sources into a cohesive store.
5. Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are well-understood and solutions align with needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in digital transformation, BI solutions, report automation, data quality assurance, or related projects.
• Good knowledge of banking policies, regulations, and retail banking products such as cards, mortgages, and personal loans.
• Experience handling large data volumes, performing data analysis, and ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Proficiency in ETL processes, Python, SQL, and understanding of data lineage and catalogs.
• Strong Excel skills with advanced formulas and pivot tables.
• Preferred skills include experience with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI, stakeholder management, and knowledge of JIRA.
