Job description

Position: Investor Research & Outreach Associate

Location: Remote or NYC (depending on client preference)

Type: Part-time Contract (3-month, with potential to extend)

About the Client:

Our client is a registered investment adviser (RIA) focused on deploying capital into cutting-edge AI infrastructure, with a track record of success and a strong pipeline of opportunities. They are seeking a highly organized, research-savvy associate to support their capital development efforts through investor intelligence, data management, and strategic outreach.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for researching prospective limited partners (LPs), managing outreach lists, drafting outreach materials, and coordinating with internal leadership. This is a high-impact role designed for someone familiar with private fund structures and investor ecosystems, particularly within alternatives, hedge funds, venture capital, or private equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research prospective LPs (family offices, endowments, fund-of-funds, etc.)
  • Build and maintain a CRM/database of investor targets
  • Draft and customize email outreach templates
  • Coordinate with internal leadership on outreach campaigns and follow-ups
  • Monitor investor response trends and provide weekly reporting
  • Schedule initial meetings and ensure prompt follow-up
  • (Optional if registered) Send approved materials to LPs on behalf of the fund




Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, private equity, venture capital, or alternative investments
  • Strong understanding of institutional investor landscape
  • Excellent research and written communication skills
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Affinity, HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive




Requirements

  • Series 65 license
  • Experience working with RIAs or hedge funds
  • Familiarity with the AI/tech infrastructure space (Preferred)




3-month contract (Contract-to-hire)

:15–25 hours/week to start, with flexibility depending on candidate availability

Compensation range for 3-Month Contract: $12,000–$19,500

(Based on $50–$65/hour; FTE equivalent: :$100,000–$130,000/year)
