About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Vice President to join the International Investor Relations team with a focus on the company’s rapidly growing client base in Latin America (“LATAM”). This is a great opportunity for someone with the desire to work with a broad range of clients within a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment. This individual will work closely with our LATAM Client Solutions department and help maintain and expand relationships across the region. This role will help to support banks, independent brokers, dealers, family offices, and small institutions across LATAM and will primarily work in assisting them with their investments on iCapital’s technology platform. The team’s goal is to optimize the investor experience, provide holistic client experience management, and ensure our clients’ overall end-to-end success throughout the lifecycle of their investments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a seasoned client experience manager with an extensive Client Success track record.
  • Provide dedicated coverage of client accounts, working closely with LATAM Client Solutions relationship managers to support the clients’ needs and objectives.
  • Implement effective, scalable strategies to efficiently offer ongoing client support, answering a wide variety of questions and escalations timely and accurately, with the goal of ensuring overall client satisfaction.
  • Support high-profile fund managers in their fundraising efforts by assisting their clients through the subscription process and managing fund closings, with a strong dedication to successful client outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams and Unicorn Strategic Partners, our partner in the region, to ensure new and existing clients and advisors receive comprehensive training on the platform and hands-on support during their initial trades.
  • Collaborate with the Technology team to optimize the user experience through enhancements to the company’s proprietary technology platform.
  • Experience effectively managing and mentoring junior team members.
  • Participate in and lead strategic projects.
  • Represent the department in both internal and external meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in a client service, customer experience management, or investor relations role in alternative investments.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Fluent Spanish speaker is required.
  • Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience with high-net-worth clients, financial advisors, and fund managers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team player.
  • Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $175,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer-paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
