Job summary

The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc. is seeking an Investor Relations Intern to join our team in Downers Grove, IL.

This paid 12-week internship provides hands-on exposure to Investor Relations with real-world experience supporting AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives that drive business results. You will work alongside professionals across Investor Relations' teams while gaining insight into investor communications, real estate investment programs, and cross-functional

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business- or real estate-related field.
Junior standing at time of application.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Ability to work 40 hours per week at the Oak Brook, IL corporate HQ.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Respect for confidential information and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Support investor communications and reporting processes.
Assist with projects that support investor operations and business objectives.
Learn how Investor Relations manages fund dispositions from the sale letter through closing.
Collaborate with teams responsible for investor outreach, communications, and project management.
Gain exposure to how Investor Relations partners with Sales, Asset Management, Accounting, Legal, Operations, and other departments.
