Job summary

Adient, a leader in automotive seating, seeks a Director of Investor Relations in Plymouth, MI to shape the investor narrative and oversee quarterly earnings, disclosures, and investor events. You’ll partner with senior leaders across Finance, Legal, Communications, and IT to communicate performance and capital allocation.

The role emphasizes technology enablement, data management, and responsible use of AI to enhance investor targeting and reporting while maintaining strict compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 7–10 years of Investor Relations or related capital-markets experience.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, financial statements, valuation methods, and public-company disclosure practices.
• Experience managing complex, deadline-driven deliverables with strong project management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and analysts.
• Coordinate investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, site visits, and related activities; prepare briefing materials.
• Provide market-perception insights to leadership and the Board.
• Support investor targeting and broaden investor base.
• Manage earnings calendar and external financial communications.
• Publish earnings releases, presentations, and related materials on the IR website.
• Collaborate on news releases, reviews, and archival requirements.
• Develop earnings presentations and investor communications.
• Maintain IR technology platforms and data quality.
• Govern retention of investor interaction records.
