We manage a series of closed‑ and open‑ended investment vehicles on behalf of leading institutional investors.

As a trusted lower middle‑market lender, LPC combines rigorous credit discipline with a relationship‑driven approach, partnering with operators, developers, private equity sponsors, and other institutional investors across the U.S. Our investment philosophy centers on transparency, flexibility, and reliability—principles that define our long‑term partnerships and our commitment to excellence.

With offices in Miami, FL, and Red Bank, NJ, LPC is a registered investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Position Overview

Locust Point Capital is seeking a highly motivated Investor Relations Associate to join its growing Investor Relations (“IR”) team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain direct exposure to institutional fundraising, investor communications, and fund operations within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

The Associate will support senior IR professionals in executing fundraising initiatives, managing investor relationships, and delivering high‑quality communications and materials to existing and prospective investors. This position provides meaningful exposure to the firm’s investment strategies, performance analytics, and fund structures, with frequent interaction across departments including Finance, Portfolio Management, Legal, and Compliance.

This role is based in Miami, Florida, and reports directly to the CEO. Team members work in the office Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the IR team in preparing marketing collateral, investor presentations, quarterly reports, and fund update materials.
  • Coordinate investor due diligence processes, data room management, and information requests throughout fundraising cycles.
  • Track and manage investor engagement, pipeline activity, and communication records using the firm’s CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across investor‑facing documents and communications.
  • Assist with the organization and execution of investor meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Conduct market and investor research to support business development initiatives and competitive analysis.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of fund performance models and analytical tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in investor relations, private credit, real estate private equity, or a related investment environment.
  • Solid understanding of private markets, corporate finance, and fund structures.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and presentation quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and polished demeanor.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
  • Experience supporting institutional fundraising or capital formation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with credit, real estate, or alternative investment products.
  • Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, resourcefulness, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence and accountability in all aspects of work.
