Job summary

Innisfree M&A Incorporated, based in New York, seeks an Investor Engagement Researcher with a strong finance/research background. You will compile shareholder data, maintain client files, and produce analytic reports on voting policies while coordinating with teams.

You’ll need Excel excellence, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects autonomously in a hybrid, on-site setting near NYC. Bachelor's degree and 1+ year experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of financial industry, research, or analytical experience. Internship or project experience may be considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, and strong Excel skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain databases and manage multiple requests.
• Solid understanding of the stock market and corporate governance.
• Ability to research across multiple databases, historical and current.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with prioritization.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Must live a commutable distance to NYC.
• U.S. employment authorization without current or future need for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling reports of an issuer’s top shareholders using multiple sources.
• Maintain and update client shareholder files throughout the year.
• Produce summary reports regarding shareholder voting policies and patterns.
• Research across multiple data sources and incorporate data into databases and spreadsheets.
• Create investor profiles and research investor contacts.
• Assist in scheduling investor roadshows.
