Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Investor Accounting Analyst Team Lead to oversee complex reconciliations and ensure compliance with servicing reports. The role partners with Investor Reporting to balance accounts and guide a growing team from home.

The position requires 3–5 years in investor accounting, with at least 1 year in a senior role, and offers comprehensive benefits along with 401(k) matching and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related investor accounting and reporting experience.
• Minimum one year in a senior staff role overseeing others.
• Strong reconciliation and compliance knowledge for regulated reporting.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile investor principal, interest, taxes and insurance across accounts to meet 30‑day Regulation AB deadlines.
• Research and resolve reconciling items within 90 days and communicate findings.
• Test pool to security differences and notify management of issues.
• Review client questions and provide backup support to supervisors as needed.
• Train and mentor junior staff to ensure compliance and growth.
• Support special projects with research and recommendations.
• Assist teammates to meet reporting deadlines and prepare custodial reports.

The Investor Accounting Analyst Team Lead will be responsible for performing complex reconciliation projects, reviewing various investor reports, schedules, and reports related to the servicing of loans. Will serve as a subject matter expert for Investor Accounting. Partner with Investor Reporting to ensure that accounts are balanced and in compliance. The target pay for this position is 95k-110k.

What you’ll do:

• Reconciles advanced actual/actual, scheduled/actual and scheduled/scheduled investor principal and interest and taxes and insurance bank accounts, ensuring that the 30-day deadline required by Regulation AB is met while making sound company financial decisions

• Researches and provides resolution of reconciling items within 90 days, as required by Regulation AB.

• Researches pool to security and test of expected principal and interest differences; keeping management notified of any issues.

• Research and review client questions and inquiries. Provide backup support, as needed, to Supervisor or above for communication

• Train and mentor lower level staff to ensure compliance and growth.

• Provide general support for special projects, conduct the research, provide information and identify possible solutions.

• Supports other team members as needed to meet deadlines for reporting.

• Compile reports as needed for activities affecting custodial accounts to be used by Investor Accounting Analysts.

• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred.

• Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience, including investor accounting and reporting ewquired.

• Minimum one (1) year experience in a senior staff role overseeing the work of others.
