Job summary

Healthcare Realty in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Analyst or Associate to join its Investments Group. The role focuses on acquisitions and dispositions in outpatient medical real estate, with emphasis on sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and closing complex transactions.

The ideal candidate has a finance/real estate background and at least two years of related experience; a master’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred but not required.
• At least two years of relevant real estate investment experience (invest. banking or lending a plus).
• Experience in outpatient medical real estate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with property acquisition and disposition in outpatient medical real estate.
• Source, underwrite, negotiate, and close transaction documents.
• Lead and coordinate real estate due diligence for multiple transactions.
• Conduct market research, business development, and networking with brokers and owners.
• Occasional nationwide travel.

The role will include assisting with property acquisition and disposition transactions in the outpatient medical sector. The candidate will provide support throughout all aspects of a transaction including sourcing, underwriting, negotiating transaction documents, and closing.

• financial analysis of real estate investments, including knowledge of Argus software and modeling
• negotiation of commercial real estate purchase and sale contracts
• an ability to lead and coordinate real estate due diligence processes and teams for multiple transactions at a time

Further, the role will entail performing in-depth market research, business development, and networking with local real estate brokers and property owners in targeted markets. Occasional nationwide travel is required. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and transactions at once, leadership, superior organization, and be goal-driven.
