Responsibilities include monitoring daily activity in Clearwater, reconciling accounts, and preparing GAAP and statutory investment reporting for multiple affiliated insurers.

The role requires strong Excel skills, GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work with legal, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Hybrid work arrangement is available and CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting or auditing experience.
• Experience in insurance preferred; CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily investment activity in Clearwater.
• Review monthly investment reconciliations (custodian, Clearwater, Workday).
• Review monthly investment journal entries on a GAAP and statutory basis for six insurance companies.
• Review monthly pricing and fair value levelling for securities.
• Review monthly investment expense accruals.
• Assist in preparing quarterly GAAP and statutory investment reporting for committees.
