Savano Capital Partners is expanding its investment team in Baltimore to lead late-stage technology investments. The Vice President will originate opportunities, manage diligence, and drive closing with a collaborative team of about ten professionals.

You’ll work directly with partners, participate in investment committee discussions, and own investment outcomes from sourcing through negotiation. Location in Baltimore or readiness to relocate is required.

Qualifikationen

• 5–8+ years in private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or equivalent.
• Ability to build investment theses and assess risk/return.
• Experience leading diligence, negotiation, and closing.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with founders, executives, and investors.
• Baltimore-based or willing to relocate; Maryland connections a plus.

• Originate investment opportunities and develop proprietary deal flow.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with founders and investors.
• Lead investment evaluation from qualification through closing; coordinate resources.
• Develop investment theses and present recommendations to committees.
• Evaluate and structure secondary transactions with management and advisors.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify follow-on opportunities.
• Mentor junior investment professionals across sourcing, diligence, and execution.
• Contribute to scaling sourcing capabilities and investment processes.
