Investment Trade Operations Analyst - 26684

Investment Trade Operations Analyst

We are currently seeking candidates for an Investment Trade Operations Analyst at a global asset management company located in Downtown Boston, MA, 02110. The ideal candidate will have internship experience and/or up to 1 year of experience in the financial services and/or asset management industry.

This role is temporary (estimated 6 months) with potential to become permanent, offering $24.00 per hour within a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities:

1. Research and resolve trade discrepancies by interacting with brokers and custodian banks.
2. Instruct trades and trade amendments.
3. Prepare wire transfers to fund investment activity.
4. Process and reconcile trade activities.
5. Process cash transactions.
6. Perform daily and monthly asset and cash reconciliations.
7. Settle trades and foreign exchanges.
8. Reconcile asset positions.
9. Research and report variances and incorrect holdings.
10. Generate daily and monthly client reports.
11. Analyze monthly portfolio asset reports for client accounts.
12. Monitor cash flows, daily expenses, collateral holdings, and income receivables for client portfolios.
13. Use Bloomberg to research portfolio discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance.
• Internship or similar work experience.
• Strong team player with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and spreadsheets.
