Corient in Texas is seeking a finance intern for summer 2027 to assist in evaluating investment managers, monitor performance, and conduct market research alongside portfolio management teams.

You will help analyze model portfolios, prepare research materials, and support client service and cross‑department collaboration. This paid internship offers exposure to asset management and the chance to develop quantitative and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising junior or senior by Summer 2027.
• Currently enrolled in a finance/economics/math related degree.
• Demonstrated coursework or experience in finance/economics/math.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and selection of investment managers across asset classes.
• Contribute to monitoring and assessment of third-party manager performance.
• Conduct market research on investment trends and developments.
• Analyze and report on model portfolios.
• Interface with portfolio management and alternatives teams.
• Produce research materials to support investment decisions.
• Support client service and content creation.
• Collaborate across departments with clear communication.
