Job summary

Shelton Capital Management is seeking a motivated, licensed Internal Sales Associate to join our Denver office. This role partners with Regional Sales Directors to cultivate relationships with financial advisors and grow Shelton’s ETF, mutual fund, and SMA business.

The ideal candidate will combine proactive prospecting, consultative product positioning, and disciplined pipeline management with exceptional advisor service.

Qualifications

• Active FINRA Series 7 license required.
• FINRA Series 63 or equivalent required; Series 65/66 preferred.
• Willingness to obtain Series 65/66 within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year financial services experience; intermediary distribution or client service preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft, Morningstar, and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop advisor relationships; coordinate meetings with Directors.
• Execute outbound prospecting via phone, email, events, and campaigns.
• Qualify opportunities; manage pipeline and meet activity targets.
• Position Shelton funds and solutions to advisors; handle questions and objections.
• Collaborate with internal teams for advisor support and product information.
• Maintain CRM records in Salesforce and Salesloft; track opportunities and next steps.
• Travel and field activity as needed to cover the territory.
