Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Graduate degree preferred.
• CFA candidate or CFA certification preferred.
• 6+ years investment experience with emphasis on manager research.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform research and due diligence on external investment managers.
• Perform regular manager searches for a variety of asset classes and vehicles.
• Contact fund and manager firms for updates on strategies and performance.
• Present findings and recommendations to Asset Management Council and WM Management.
• Develop efficient portfolios and models for different objectives across risk spectra.
• Document findings for compliance and audit.
• Communicate portfolio and manager information to Portfolio Managers in the field.
• Review non-approved assets received in-kind on new accounts.
• Perform annual reviews on non-approved assets.
