Job summary

VC Stack is looking for an Investment Associate to join the Investment Research Team in Miami. This role involves sourcing and conducting due diligence in public market investment managers and contributing to macroeconomic white papers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, progress towards CFA certification, and experience in macroeconomic analysis or investment research. Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA or related field) strongly preferred.
• CFA designation or active progress toward certification (minimum CFA Level I passed).
• Experience in investment research, portfolio management, or macroeconomic analysis.
• Deep understanding of macroeconomics, global markets, portfolio construction, and risk management frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, compelling investment commentary and macroeconomic white papers.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing, evaluation, and monitoring of public market investment solutions.
• Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative due diligence on investment managers.
• Assist in strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions.
• Develop and maintain tools and systems to monitor portfolio risk.
• Write and publish insightful macroeconomic white papers.
