Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks an experienced investment professional to support the Investment Policy Committee.

The role involves researching mutual funds, ETFs, fixed income, and stocks; building financial models in Excel; and supporting portfolio analysis and client reporting. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, 5+ years in the field, strong communication, and familiarity with Bloomberg; CFA Charter desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting with strong academic record.
• 5+ years in investment research or portfolio management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling, graphing, and presentations; Bloomberg Terminal familiarity.
• Desire to pursue the CFA Charter.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into mutual funds, ETFs, fixed-income securities and stocks.
• Build and maintain financial models in Excel; track investment statistics and data.
• Provide portfolio analysis, RFP support and presentation materials.
• Produce regular research publications and client-facing deal books.
• Assist with adherence to laws, regulations and internal controls.
