Nasdaq is seeking an Investment Research Analyst for CAP Investment Insights (CII). The role focuses on transforming proprietary data into timely, unbiased investment insights for institutional and retail audiences.

You will translate complex quantitative findings into compelling narratives and visuals tailored to diverse clients. Qualifications include a 3–5 year investment research background, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and proficiency in SQL, Python or VBA, with Tableau/Power BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in investment research, asset management, financial services, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of investment concepts, capital markets, asset classes, and the needs of institutional and/or retail/wealth investors.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to varied audiences.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or VBA, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, clean, validate, and analyze data from Nasdaq proprietary and third‑party sources to support original investment research.
• Analyze complex investment and market data to identify trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities for institutional and retail investors.
• Contribute to producing timely thought leadership, including thematic research, global market perspectives, and client briefs.
• Translate quantitative findings into clear narratives, charts, dashboards, and visualizations for different investor segments.
• Collaborate with research, commercial, marketing, and regional teams while maintaining analytical independence.
