Description

As the Investment Portfolio Manager, you will assist in managing the Institutional Investment Portfolio, Institutional Hedging Portfolio, and MSR Hedging. This includes researching trade ideas, performing complex analysis and modeling both pre- and post-purchase, and executing or supporting transaction execution. The role involves partnering with senior team members to achieve goals and objectives, focusing on innovative solutions.

Primary Responsibilities Include

1. Trade Execution: Supporting electronic and verbal execution of US Treasuries, Agency MBS, CMBS, CMOs, CLOs, interest rate swaps, swaptions, options, futures, and TBAs for various institutional portfolios and strategies.
2. Forecasting: Supporting financial forecasting, scenario analysis, and stress testing related to the Securities and Derivatives Portfolios.
3. Data Analysis: Gathering data and analyzing the investment portfolio to identify risks and opportunities, supporting strategy development to mitigate risks.
4. Reporting & Analytics: Developing and enhancing month-end and quarter-end reports for ALCO, Board, and Investor Relations; conducting daily market surveillance; developing dashboards and scenario analyses to show exposures, correlations, and statistical data.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications, and/or Other Professional Credentials

• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field
• Interest in financial markets, bank balance sheets, and problem-solving
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Economics, Math, Statistics, or related quantitative field
• Experience transacting in Agency MBS, CMBS, CMOs, swaps, swaptions, TBAs, and futures
• Progress towards CFA or FRM designation
• Coding experience in Python, SQL, or Matlab

Hours & Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday

Pay Transparency

The salary range is $97,726 - $150,000 annually, based on factors like location, skills, and experience.
