Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, or internship experience.
• Comfortable handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Independently verify performance of investment managers by using custodial data to calculate gross and net returns and investigate variances.
• Audit investment manager fees, including validation of incentive fees and high-water marks.
• Evaluate benchmarks for managers and composites based on investment style and returns-based analysis.
• Help manage internal systems used for monitoring and reporting, including portfolio management systems and databases.
• Manage data capturing custodial, manager, and product information accurately and timely; identify issues and propose solutions.
• Facilitate manager searches by gathering data from RFP responses and communicating with prospective managers.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly investment reports for senior management.
• Identify ways to improve activities, processes, operations for the investment organization.
