Job summary

Greater Kansas City Community Foundation seeks a Manager of Investments Services to execute and administer the investment program, including reporting, committee support, and private/alternative investments onboarding. The role partners with the SVP of Investments and the Director of Investment Analytics to deliver accurate, timely information and exceptional donor service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or related field; 5+ years in investment management or institutional investments.
• CFA/CAIA/CFP®, MBA or equivalent credentials preferred; willingness to pursue credentials.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Travel locally as needed; valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc investment reports, portfolio performance materials, and Investment Committee materials.
• Coordinate investment reporting activities to ensure information is accurate and timely.
• Support agency fund reporting and other investment administration activities.
• Lead administration of private and alternative investments: onboarding, due diligence, documentation, subscriptions, capital calls, distributions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, custodians, managers, and consultants to support operations and recordkeeping.
• Maintain investment records and operational procedures to support the program.
• Conduct investment review meetings and provide performance insights to donors and committees.
• Support relationship management by providing investment information to stakeholders.
• Assist with evaluation and monitoring of portfolios, managers, benchmarks, and investment vehicles.
• Partner with SVP on Investment Committee activities and strategic initiatives.
• Improve reporting quality, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure policy-aligned execution.
