Job summary

CMC Recruiting represents a growing boutique wealth management client seeking an Investment Operations Manager. The role leads execution, structuring, and consistency of investment operations, partnering with advisors to deliver high-quality client service and scalable processes.

The position focuses on ownership, system-building, and continuous improvement of workflows, data accuracy, and reporting across the firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in investment operations or related field.
• Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) required.
• Strong understanding of trading, accounts, and investment operations.
• Able to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day investment operations across the firm.
• Oversee onboarding, asset movement, trading, and maintenance.
• Create scalable, efficient processes.
• Identify workflow gaps and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with firm standards.
• Partner with advisors to execute strategies.
• Oversee client onboarding for a high-quality experience.
• Prepare investment materials for meetings.
• Escalate complex operational issues.
• Ensure timely handling of client investment requests.
• Monitor trades and ensure accuracy.
