Job summary

Brown Advisory in Washington, DC is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to provide operational support to the Investment team. You will assist with client transactions, data administration, and technology-enabled workflows to ensure accurate and timely processing.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree, and strong Excel skills. You will work with internal teams, maintain custody portals, and help drive continuous improvement across processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a record of academic achievement.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Investment team to provide superior service to clients.
  • Daily review of transactions and cross-reference with expected activity.
  • Triage daily statement inboxes to identify actionable communications.
  • Review cash availability for upcoming money movement transactions.
  • Maintain portal access for investments and support workflows across platforms.
  • Provide coverage for other team members and contribute to projects.
