Job summary

C&N is seeking an Investment Officer to join our Wealth Management team in the Wellsboro area. You will manage client portfolios, conduct research, and communicate investment strategies to clients and internal partners.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a related field and 4–6 years of investment experience, plus CFA or CIMA certification within 3 years of employment. Strong analytical and client-relations skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 4–6 years investment experience with progressive responsibility in portfolio management, investment analysis, trading, wealth management, or related field.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Manage assigned client portfolios and investment strategies, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, monitoring, rebalancing, and risk management.
  • Investment Research & Analysis: Research securities, investment managers, sectors, industries, and market conditions to identify opportunities and support informed investment decisions.
  • Trading & Execution: Execute security trades, coordinate investment transactions, monitor portfolio activity, and support the development and maintenance of investment models.
  • Client Relationships & Reporting: Participate in client meetings, communicate investment strategy and market conditions, prepare portfolio reviews and performance reports, and provide investment guidance to clients and internal partners.
  • Investment Governance & Improvement: Support investment policies, Investment Review Committee activities, reporting, and initiatives that strengthen portfolio management and investment processes.

Who are you?

You’re an investment professional who enjoys analyzing markets, constructing portfolios, and helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals. At C&N, we’re seeking an Investment Officer to manage investment portfolios and provide thoughtful investment guidance within our Wealth Management team.

In this role, you’ll conduct investment research, make portfolio recommendations, execute trades, monitor performance and risk, and communicate investment strategies to clients and internal partners.
