Cerity Partners is seeking Summer 2027 Interns for its Investment Office in the Central Solutions team. Interns will work on Investment Management, Public Market Research, or Private Research, gaining exposure to multi-asset class portfolios and investment strategies.

Responsibilities

Job description

Cerity Partners is looking for Summer 2027 Interns to join our Investment Office as part of our Central Solutions team. As an Investment Office Intern, you will work on either our Investment Management, Public Market Research, or Private Research teams. The role provides exposure to the institutional investment marketplace, multi-asset class portfolio management, and a range of investment strategies and managers. This is a paid, full-time internship (40 hours per week) that offers practical experience in a professional setting. It’s a strong opportunity for students seeking direct insight into the investment industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct asset class and capital markets research.
• Prepare clear, concise written reports of analysis performed.
• Provide reports, data, and analysis for the CIO, Head of Solutions, Head of Investment Management, Head of Research, and other business leaders, as directed.
• Participate in research calls and meetings with industry-leading investment managers; prepare and distribute meeting notes.
• Utilize and help build AI tools to support research, drafting, and data analysis.
• Maintain investment-related databases, spreadsheets, and models to track client portfolio exposures.
• Collaborate with a team to develop a financial planning or investment research project.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a strong academic record. Business or Finance majors preferred but not required.
• Exhibits a strong interest in public and private capital markets and portfolio management.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Bloomberg and Morningstar a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with mainstream AI tools.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
