Job summary

Cerity Partners is seeking Summer 2027 Interns to join our Investment Office as part of our Central Solutions team. You will work on either Investment Management, Public Market Research, or Private Research teams, gaining exposure to multi-asset class portfolio management and investment strategies.

This paid, full-time internship (40 hours per week) offers practical experience in a professional setting and direct exposure to senior leadership within a fast-growing nationally recognized RIAs firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree; business or finance majors preferred but not required.
• Interest in public and private capital markets and portfolio management.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Bloomberg and Morningstar is a plus.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with mainstream AI tools.
• Team-oriented with confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset class and capital markets research.
• Prepare clear, concise written analyses and reports.
• Provide reports and data for senior leaders including CIO and Heads of Solutions/Investment Management.
• Participate in research calls/meetings with investment managers; distribute notes.
• Utilize and help build AI tools to support research, drafting, and data analysis.
• Maintain investment-related databases, spreadsheets, and models.
• Collaborate on a financial planning or investment research project.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

The role provides exposure to the institutional investment marketplace, multi-asset class portfolio management, and a range of investment strategies and managers. This is a paid, full-time internship (40 hours per week) that offers practical experience in a professional setting. It’s a strong opportunity for students seeking direct insight into the investment industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory firm. **Primary Responsibilities:*** Conduct asset class and capital markets research.* Prepare clear, concise written reports of analysis performed.* Provide reports, data, and analysis for the CIO, Head of Solutions, Head of Investment Management, Head of Research, and other business leaders, as directed.* Participate in research calls and meetings with industry-leading investment managers; prepare and distribute meeting notes.* Utilize and help build AI tools to support research, drafting, and data analysis* Maintain investment-related databases, spreadsheets, and models to track client portfolio exposures.* Collaborate with a team to develop a financial planning or investment research project.* Perform other responsibilities as assigned. **Required Qualifications:*** Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a strong academic record.
