Job summary

Walleye Capital is seeking an Investment Intelligence Associate for its New York office. You will work with PMs, analysts, and engineering to define platform directions, prioritize requests, and drive adoption across teams.

The role requires 2–5 years in buy-side research or AI product work, a quantitative degree, and strong SQL/data fluency. A CFA is welcome but not required; compensation includes a base salary and discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Two to five years in buy-side long/short research or AI product roles.
• Degree in finance, economics, CS, engineering, or quantitative field.
• Fluency in fundamental equities; read filings and earnings models.
• Technical fluency; comfortable with SQL and how systems fit together.
• Regular use of AI in your work and interest in frontier lab releases.
• Ability to start without a fully formed ticket and still set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering teams to turn direction into an ordered plan and serve as the product voice when decisions are needed.
• Run prioritization: gather requests from PMs and analysts, maintain a ranked view of work in progress, and document what will not be done and why.
• Keep product, engineering, AI Engineering, and investment teams connected.
• Help PMs and analysts adopt the platform through onboarding, updates as tools change, and clear channels for reporting problems early.
• Evaluate search, synthesis, and recommendation quality, and identify data the teams need but do not have.
• Use the platform daily and write specifications, decisions, and updates that others can act on.]
