Job summary

DLA Piper seeks an associate to join its Investment Funds group across multiple U.S. offices, including San Francisco.

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of relevant experience and a strong academic background, with emphasis on formation and operation of private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds, plus secondary transactions experience. JD required, and admission to practice in the applicable state.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent.
• 3-6 years at a AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
• Experience advising on private equity, real estate, venture capital or hedge funds.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers and business professionals.
• Produce high-quality work and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Meet deadlines and manage competing priorities with high standards.
