Job summary

International AmLaw 50 firm in New York seeks Investment Funds Associate Attorneys. The ideal candidate holds a JD from a top-tier law school, is actively admitted to the bar, and has 3–6 years of experience in investment management and fund formation, including private equity, hedge and real estate funds.

INTERNATIONAL AMLAW 50 FIRM has an immediate opening for Investment FundsAssociate Attorneys in their New Yorkoffice.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3-6 years of substantive experience ininvestment managementandfund formation.
• Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is highly advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and other types of funds employing alternative investment strategies.
• Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds).
• Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
• Contribute to the firm's expanding investment funds practice, directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.
